Don’t Be Scared of Summer Ending- String Cheese Incident’s Suwannee Hulaween is Right around the Bend!
Thinking about the end of summer can be a little scary. This year, why not get psyched instead of spooked by having something to look forward to? Cushion your fall by planning to attend the second installment of String Cheese Incident’s Suwannee Hulaween at Spirit of Suwannee Music Park October 31st through November 2nd, 2014. This year, the band from whom the festival takes its name will be playing a three-set show guaranteed to stir up some musical mischief on Halloween and will be back again for each of the following nights. There are plenty of more treats guaranteed to fulfill musical cravings on the lineup including, but certainly not limited to, Thievery Corporation, Big Gigantic, Beats Antique, The New Deal, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Greensky Bluegrass, EOTO, and Conspirator. With such a jam (and bluegrass, and electronic, and soul-funk, and world-fusion…) packed show, there’s likely to be some good tricks in store, too!
As far as Halloween Spirits, the one of Suwannee Musical Park is especially apt to the occasion. In addition to the 800 acres of beautiful moss-draped oak and cypress about which you can gallivant in your spook-day best, Spirit Lake will be making its return. Interactive theme camps, multimedia art installations, and live performances are just a few features to eagerly anticipate. If you enjoy good music, beautiful scenery, high production quality, and good company, then this event is not to be missed!
